Join Link Generations and the Charles E. Smith Life Communities at Ring House for the first monthly program of the new year. Student volunteers will learn basic principles of gerontology, sensitivity training about working with older adults, and skills for leading monthly intergenerational programs. Examples of activities are music, life storytelling, art, games, and help with technology. Students draw on their own interests in these areas to help them feel comfortable working with older adults. This month’s activity is focused on “New Year Firsts” and New Year’s resolutions.
