February Intergenerational Program at Ring House

Join Link Generations and the Charles E. Smith Life Communities for our sixth monthly program of the school year. Student volunteers will learn basic principles of gerontology, sensitivity training about working with older adults, and skills for leading monthly intergenerational programs. Examples of activities are music, life storytelling, art, games, and help with technology. Students draw on their own interests in these areas to help them feel comfortable working with older adults. This month’s activity will be centered around friendship and Valentine’s Day.
