December Intergenerational Program at Ring House

Link Generations and the Charles E. Smith Life Communities join together to present our last monthly program for 2019!  Student volunteers will learn basic principles of gerontology, sensitivity training about working with older adults, and skills for leading monthly intergenerational programs. Examples of activities are music, life storytelling, art, games, and help with technology. Students draw on their own interests in these areas to help them feel comfortable working with older adults. This month’s program will focus on sharing winter holiday traditions with one another.
