October Intergenerational Program at Ring House

Link Generations and Charles E. Smith Life Communities at Ring House partner together to bring you our second monthly intergenerational program of the school year. Student volunteers will learn basic principles of gerontology, sensitivity training about working with older adults, and skills for leading monthly intergenerational programs. Students draw on their own interests in these areas to help them feel comfortable working with older adults. This month’s program is focused on helping residents learn how to use new-age technology.
