Monthly Intergenerational Program at Ring House

Join Link Generations and the Charles E. Smith Life Communities for our first monthly intergenerational program of the new school year. Student volunteers will learn basic principles of gerontology, sensitivity training about working with older adults, and skills for leading monthly intergenerational programs. Examples of activities are music, life-storytelling, art, games, and help with technology. Students draw on their own interests in these areas to help them feel comfortable working with older adults. This month’s program is focused on “Getting to Know You.”
